I’ve Cleared a Few Hours on Tuesday for You. Do you Have time?

If you haven’t figured it out by now, I love AdWords. I love everything about it. After all, what’s not to love?  Whether you’re a “Mom & Pop business”, or a multi-million dollar company, AdWords can multiply the profitability of your business by 200%, 400%… even 10,000 percent!  The biggest reward I get from AWords is helping clients milk as much as possible out of their AdWords investments.

Bittersweet rewards: Helping multi-million dollar companies become even more profitable by stretching their AdWords dollars to their limits is really rewarding, but I started as a small-business owner myself, and quite frankly – sometimes I miss working with other small businesses.

My Small Business Story. I started a real estate career 16 years ago, and eventually grew my own real estate company to nearly 60 agents. It was a great partnership. I drove the majority of their clients to them via the internet, and they paid me a good portion of their commissions as a result of that partnership.  I eventually sold a portion of my business to a RE/MAX franchise, and now we’re taking our company’s concept nationwide.  All of those accomplishments are as a direct result of my use of AdWords.   If I could, I’d manage your AdWords account so you could do the same with your business.  Unfortunately, I can’t.  There simply aren’t enough hours in the day.

How I’ve tried to help. Although I started 20/20 PPC as a way of helping you use AdWords to grow your business, it has become apparent to me that I need to do more.  After all – there is only so much I can teach via white-papers & blog posts.  Sometimes I need to actually look at an account to figure out where the biggest improvements can be made.  In the past, the only way to do that was for me to actually take over management of your account, but if you’re not spending at least $50,000 it wouldn’t be financially feasible for either of us.

Introducing 1 on 1 coaching. Then it hit me… Instead of paying me $10K per month to physically manage your account, I came up with a way for us to work as a team, and build the profitability of your business together.  That way, not only will you get concrete suggestions on where the most lucrative parts of your account are, but you’ll retain that knowledge forever. That knowledge will compound every time we work together, and you’ll be shocked at the vast improvements you’ll see with your AdWords accounts. In fact, those improvements will help increase your profitability in ways you couldn’t even have predicted.

Although the majority of my time is still spent managing my clients’ AdWords accounts, I have decided to set aside a few hours every Tuesday for 1 on 1 coaching.

I am only accepting a few applicants. Due to the fact that my primary job is still managing AdWords accounts for clients, I’ll only be setting a few hours aside on Tuesdays. Before we go any further, let’s figure out if this will even work for you.   This isn’t for you if:

  • If you’re not spending at least $1000 per month on AdWords. If that’s the case, I’m probably not a good fit for you.  I think a better investment (for now) would be continuing to study the information I send you.  I also suggest reading anything written by Perry Marshall, Dan Thies, or Howie Jacobson.
  • If you’re unfamiliar with the difference between “Broad Match”, “Phrase Match”, “Exact Match”, and “The Content Network”.  Familiarity with those terms is a prerequisite for our 1 on 1 consulting sessions.
  • If you aren’t tracking conversions via Adwords’ conversion tracking scripts.  If you don’t have an accurate way of measuring your success before and after we start working together, I can’t help you.  (Once you have at least 3 months of conversion metrics, if I still have a 1 on 1 coaching slot available, we can consider working together.)

This might be for you:

  • If you stay up late at night tweaking and nudging your account, only to be disappointed the next day when you log in and find little or no improvements.
  • If you know you should outsource management to someone else, but refuse to do so – knowing “no one can take care of your baby as well as you.”
  • If you obsess for hours over improving things like “impression share”, “quality score”, and whether your terms should be in the #1, #2, or #5 because you just know that there is a lot more room for improvement. You just aren’t sure of where to find those areas.
  • If you think Adwords Editor is the best thing since the invention of the wheel.
  • If you have been managing your AdWords account, feel pretty comfortable with the process, but you know…
  • If you’re an AdWords manager yourself, and want to brainstorm with a colleague on advanced management techniques.
  • If you’re frustrated with your Google account rep because all of their advice just seems to be focused on more clicks – not necessarily more conversions. Instead, you want someone who “has a little skin in the game”, but you don’t want to pay through the nose for it.

If any of the above describes you, we just might be able to work well together.

  • As a consultant, I will work with you on a one-on-one basis, and we’ll look at your account together via webinar once a month.  We will go through account structure, find profitable areas to beef up, costly areas to cut out, and opportunities that might not be taken advantage of to their fullest.
  • I will look at your account as if I were looking at one of my $50K or $100K a month accounts, and you’ll be virtually looking over my shoulder. Together, we’ll discover areas of growth (and costly portions of your account that can be fixed) that you might not have seen on your own.
  • Your sessions will be recorded, and sent to you for your records. (These recordings will be especially useful if you ever hire someone new to take over management of your account.)
  • Each month, we’ll check your progress since the prior month, and we’ll find other areas to venture into.

Tuesday afternoon only. Please note that my primary job is still actually managing accounts, so I only have a few Tuesday time-slots available, and am scheduling appointments on a first come – first served basis.
